U.S.VETS Peer Support and Outreach Program, Orange County
The Peer Support and Outreach Program is a preventative program designed to address social isolation, mental health, employment, housing, and healthcare needs aggravated by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The program is designed to outreach and connect veterans and families in the Orange County community, to services and resources, regardless of discharge status.
The Peer Support & Outreach team members are here to support veterans in the following areas:
- Social Engagement Sessions
- Linkage to Resources, including mental health, case management, employment, and women’s programs
- Suicide Risk Assessment
- Virtual Mental Health Seminars
- Technical Assistance with Accessing Virtual Platforms
